Our Story:

United Filipino Basketball of Hamilton (UFBH) was born out of a shared passion — not just for basketball, but for building a stronger, more connected Filipino community. For decades, Filipino families in Hamilton have gathered in gyms, parks, and community centers, using sports as a bridge to celebrate culture, create lifelong friendships, and pass on values from one generation to the next.

Founded in 2023, UFBH is the next evolution of that tradition. We are more than a league — we are a movement. A movement powered by volunteers, driven by purpose, and united by the spirit of bayanihan. Through basketball, we aim to uplift our youth, empower local businesses, and provide a platform for mentorship, leadership, and meaningful impact.

At the heart of our mission is a call to action: it is up to each community member — players, coaches, families, and supporters — to contribute their time, talent, and heart. Together, we are building something greater than ourselves: a legacy of unity, service, and Filipino pride that will carry on for generations.
